The ArtiFace by i-am-nimbus The ArtiFace by i-am-nimbus
Have you been in a terrible accident?
Aging process too rough?
Just time for a new look?

Well for a small price you can have your own facade replaced by a flawless, beautiful new custom ArtiFace!

Livers? Hearts? Old news. THIS is the new face of artificial organs!

This ArtiForg has a variety of plates and dimensions to allow for a natural range of motion. The material is flexible where it needs to be, rigid where it doesn't, and indestructible all over. It is easily synced with the central nervous system, and it responds even better to it than a natural face because of the systems extremely high processing speed.

As to how it is applied, I envisioned a rather horrid surgery where this structure is bolted onto the front of the skull, after the original facial structures are, well, removed. Then, synthetic skin grafts are applied to the structure and allowed to grow over it. Thus, no matter how old you are, the skin on your face will be fresh as a babies, stretched across a perfectly formed structure. Meanwhile, the synthetic follicles placed in the eyelid and eyebrow area would be stimulated to produce hair. All this while the patient is deep, deep under anesthetics.

Once the skin is grown, it will remain flawless for long periods of time, because the medicated structure beneath does not allow for acne, sun damage, dry skin, oily skin, etc. If the skin becomes damages with age, it is a simple matter of going under for a few weeks every few decades so the doctors can remove it from the ArtiFace and start fresh.

Young and perfect forever--at a price. Also, there's nothing they can really do for the rest of your body yet. Enjoy your new ArtiFace!

I love the bit about the "Artiface being more natural than the original". I could see people buying into that line without thinking that it's an oxymoron; which is scary.

Nice! If it doesn't have to be repossessed due to nonpayment, I think I would like one.

Yeah. There are details to overcome. Especially in the Repo Men movie.

Ooh, great! Very nice concept, I also like your lettertype. Background is matrix inspired? :)
